Slay It Forward

Last week, it had to have been Monday or Tuesday, all these vehicles decorated for a parade, using their hazard lights and stretching about 1/4 mile came up our street.

Windows were down, music turned up, lots of hellos and waving as streamers and posterboard signs from the teachers from our local elementary school saying how much they missed the students were decorated along the sides and top of each vehicle. One even had a tied down blown up Mascot of the Luff Lions in the back of a pickup.
I’ve never seen such a parade. Many of my neighbors came out on out front yards hollering and waving back. I’m sure the Luff teachers spread a lot of joy that. We talked about it all evening

A passerby snapped a picture of the heartwarming moment and posted it to Facebook.
